Sergey Teterin has arrived

sergey & anja

Early this morning my friend, the russian media-artist and curator Sergey Teterin from Perm, Russia has arrived here in Vienna, together with his wife Anja and his daughter Serafima.
Sergey has come to Austria again to present his project VideoTochka at the MUSA (“Museum auf Abrufâ” – “museum on demand”). Videotochka was designed as a gallery for contemporary russian video-art. The rather unusual original concept of Videotochka was, that visitors are being rewarded for their attention, not having to pay for it (Probably it should be mentioned that the gallery is located in Perm, a not so small, but nevertheless far-off Russian city in the Ural-region, about 2.000 km east of Moscow).

Before Videotochka has its day at MUSA we are planning two further presentations:

  • June 13th, 6.30 pm: CineX, Lienz, Tyrol – a 2 1/2 hours compilation presented in Russian and German
  • June 21st, 8.30 pm: Galerie Schloss Damtschach, Wernberg (near Villach), Carinthia – hopefully a presentation under stars (unless the weather doesn’t play along)

If you happen to be around at that time, come along. the presentation will be held in German and Russian. Free entrance!
