The Vienna Improvisers Orchestra is celebrating its 10th anniversary and I’ve been invited to take part. Needless to say, I’ll do so with greatest pleasure.

Musical Improvisation usually happens within small groups of people or, as often, in solo performances. The unusual thing about the Vienna Improvisers Orchestra – it’s a real orchestra, doing improvised music. Or more exactly: It’s going to be about 40 people playing, improvising together. A challenge, indeed.

I’m gonna play mono. As are 40 others going to as well.
