Shortcuts edited within the CVCenterShortcutsEditor will become active immediately but don’t get stored to disk (though this can be done by clicking the checkbox below the “set shortcuts” button). The interface can be reached by clicking the “shortcuts” button at the bottom of the CVCenter GUI.
